Positions Of Vacancies
The positions for which the vacancies are available are Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Research associates are professional researchers who usually have done their masters. Research Associates are experienced and have advanced skill sets.
JRF is a chance given to qualified students to pursue higher studies like masters or Ph.D. etc. Moreover, students who are good and have good qualifications are given a chance by the faculty to get involved in various big projects that help them get experience and build up their future.
There are four vacancies available for RA, and six vacancies are available for JRF.
Age Limit
There is also a certain age limit within which DRDO wants their candidates to be.
For RA, the upper age has to be 35 years, but this upper age can vary for those people in Scheduled and Other Backward Class caste. For Other Backward Class caste, it can differ within three years, and for Scheduled or tribe caste, it can differ for five years.
For the JRF, the age limit should be 28. This JRF age does not vary in any case, and it has to be 28 or below but not above that
DRDO Scientist Salary
For the RA, the salary provided will be 54,000 per month and HRA( House Rent Allowance) as per the rules of the DRDO.- For the JRF, the salary provided will be 31,000 per month and HRA as per the rules of DRDO.
