A recruitment drive has been launched by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) of Odisha in order to fill 4619 posts in government secondary schools in the state. The DSE, Odisha requires Hindi teachers, Sanskrit teachers, and physical educators and these vacancies are contract basis in the various government secondary schools of Odisha.
Selective computer-based qualifying examinations will be performed in specified examination centers across Odisha to determine who would be hired for the position. Total Number of Posts Recruiting by DSE Odisha
Recruiting will take place for a total of 4610 positions in which there will be 2055 Hindi teachers HT, 1304 Sanskrit teachers ST and 1260 Physical Education teachers PET posts.
Sep 14, 2021, is the last date decided by the DSEO for the candidates to submit their applications.
Eligibility Criteria
For Hindi Teachers
Candidates are required to have a graduate degree in the field of Hindi with 50% as the minimum aggregate marks from a recognized university. In addition to this, applicants should have completed the course Hindi Shikshan Parangat authorized by NCTE and hold a B.Ed in Hindi, from a recognized university.
The minimum percentage for all these qualifications is 50%.
Candidates for Hindi teachers should also have a mandatory qualification of Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rashtrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha, Shastri (Hindi) from Orissa Rashtrabhasa Parishad, Puri, Snataka from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Orissa, Cuttack.
For Sanskrit Teachers
For the vacancies of Sanskrit teachers, aspirants need to have completed their graduation in Sanskrit with a minimum percentage of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University. They should also have qualified the Shiksha Shastri or Shastri courses in Sanskrit from a recognized University.
For Physical Education Teachers
Candidates have to pass the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from an authorized university. They should also hold the CP.Ed./ BP.Ed./ MP. Ed from an recognized institution.
Note: The candidates belonging to the category SC/ST/PH/ SEBC are required to have a minimum percentage of 45%.
How To apply
All the aspirants are required to visit the official website of the DSE, Odisha at dseodisha.in.
They can fill their application form there and submit it online.
After submitting, candidates should take out the hard copy of the application form.
The application fee is 400 INR for the SC, ST, and PWD applicants, and 600 INR for other candidates.
Exam Pattern
This will be total online exam consisting of 150 objective questions with total 150 marks. Answer carefully as there is 0.25 negative mark for each wrong answer. This negative marking can overall downgrade your ranking. You will get 150 mins i.e. 2.30 hours to complete this exam. If you are not sure about the answer, it is better to leave that question rather than attempting wrongly.
