Integral coach factory (Sawari Dibba Khana) Chennai is recruiting for an apprenticeship through skill India for training under apprentice’s act-1961 from Tamil Nādu residents. There are a total of 782 vacancies for the apprenticeship. The trades that coach factory will teach are: –

  • Electrician
  • Fitter
  • Machinist
  • Painter
  • Welder

For Ex-ITI and Freshers. This recruitment is purely for apprenticeship training and not for employment.

ICF Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

For Existing ITI

Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Should have passed Standard 10th (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science &Math’s under secondary (10+2) system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the N.C.V.T or S.C.V.T of one year and above. Period of training will be 1 year.

Carpenter, Painter & Welder: Should have passed Standard 10th(with a minimum of 50% marks) under secondary (10+2) system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the N.C.V.T or S.C.V.T of one year and above. Period of training will be 1 year.

Programming and System Admin Assistant: Should have passed Standard 10th (with a minimum of 50% marks) and also appeared National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Programming and operator Asst. issued by the N.C.V.T or S.C.V.T of one year and above. Period of training will be 1 year.

For Fresher

Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Should have passed Standard 10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science & Math’s under secondary (10+2) system or its equivalent. Period of training will be 2years.

Carpenter & Painter: Should have passed Standard 10th(with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under secondary (10+2) system or its equivalent. Period of training will be 2 years.

Welder: Should have passed Standard 10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under secondary (10+2) system or its equivalent.Period of training will be 1 year 3 months.

MLT (Radiology & Pathology):Should have passed Std XII examination under secondary (10+2) system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.Period of training will be 1 year 3 months.

Age Criteria

15-24 years of age before 26/10/2021

How to Apply

Submission for online application will be available from 27/09/2021 to 26/10/2021 till 5:30 p.m. on the website

(i) Applications are accepted only through online mode.

(ii) Candidates have to log on to the ICF web portal https://pb.icf.gov.in/

(iii) For filling the application form, candidates should keep all the data of documents/certificates required for filling in the application and an image of a recent passport size photograph (not more than 200 KB) in jpg/jpeg format.

(iv) The system-generated registration number will be the candidate’s own Registration ID & the password to generate acknowledgement is their date of birth. For login, the candidate has to use the online generated registration number, with the password as date of birth in “DDMMYYYY” format.

(v) A processing fee of 100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee will be required to be paid by SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates.

(vi) No request of refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be permitted by ICF under any circumstances.

(vii) Before submitting, the candidate should check whether the details are correct.

(viii)A processing fee of 100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee will be required to be paid by SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates. A unique Transaction ID starting with ‘DU’ will be sent to the registered mobile number by the payment gateway system. Candidates should save their Transaction ID for future references of payment details.

(ix) Candidates are not required to send or submit any documents, including the application form generated by the system, to ICF.

(x) After final submission, candidates should generate the acknowledgement form from the system. The candidates should take a printout of the acknowledgement generated by the system, which the candidate must submit at the time of Document Verification.
