The BCCI is all set to begin the I.P.L 2023. The 1st match of the TATA IPL 2023 will be played in March 2023.
IPL date
The Board of cricket control in India has announced the dates for conducting the Tata Indian Premier League of 2023. It will be held in Mumbai and Pune. A total of 70 matches would be played, and four playoff games would be played. The entire game would be covered within the duration of 65 days.
The Indian Premier League is all set to start on 26 March. The first match would be played at the Wankhede stadium, and the first match in Pune would begin from 29th March in the MCA stadium. A total of 20 matches would be played in Wankhede stadium and DY Patil Stadium, and 15 matches would be played at MCA International Stadium and Brabourne stadium in Pune.
The matches would start from 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon. For the evening matches, the schedule has been set at 7:30 p.m. The full, exhaustive schedule has been made to cover all the matches.
IPL Team Captain and Coaches
A total of 10 teams have been participating in the Premier League from India. There are a total of 10 deserving captains representing the teams. They would be guided with the help of proper head coaches. The proper details about the same have been mentioned in the following way.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni would be the captain of Chennai Super Kings. Stephen Fleming is the coach for Chennai Super King.
Shreyas Iyyer is the captain of Delhi Daredevils. The team was coached by Ajit Agarkar.
Mayank Agrawal is the captain for Punjab Kings, and the team is going to get coached by Anil Kumble.
Kolkata Knight Riders has chosen Eoin Morgan as its captain. At the same time, Brendan is the head coach for the team.

IPL Venue and Capacity
The Board of cricket control in India has shortlisted the important venues for holding Indian Premier League matches in 2023. The organizing committee is set to launch these amazing matches at the four most important stadiums of India in Mumbai and Pune, respectively. Technically there are 4 venues that have been decided for organizing this cricket match, and three of these venues are in Mumbai, and one is in Pune.
Wankhede and the DY Patil Stadium will be hosting 20 matches each. Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and MCA stadium in Pune will also be hosting 15 matches naturally. All of the matches that are distributed across the four venues would be conducted by keeping all the covid-19 protocols in mind.
It is definitely helpful for ensuring control and access to safety despite not compromising the entertainment perspective over the same. All the venues have comprised and allowed at least 25% of the spectator capacity during the matches. This has been decided in the light of the cases and the current covid situation in the country by that time.
