IUAC Recruitment 2022: Apply for Scientist, Engineer and JE Jobs

Inter-University Accelerator Centre commission released notification to fill the posts of Scientist, Engineer, and Junior Engineer. Initially, candidates will be appointed as Scientist Trainees and after completing the training of one year successfully candidates will receive Level-10 payment. The number of positions that will be filled under this recruitment drive is mentioned below:

• Scientist: 14 Positions- 6 are for Geo Chronology Facility
• Engineer: 7 Positions- 3 for Geo Chronology Facility

Important Dates

Start date of Application: 12th February 2022

End date of Application: 5th March 2022

Age Criteria

The age limit for Scientists and Engineers is 26 years and the Junior Engineer age limit is 30 years. 

Age relaxation will be given as per the below-mentioned table: 

• Central/ State/University/Research unit Govt. Employee: 5 years
• IUAC departmental candidates: No age bar 
• Reserved Category+ PWD: As per government rules 

Application fee

Scientist/Junior Engineer-C: 1000 INR

Engineer: 500 INR 

SC/ST and PWD candidates are not required to pay a fee. 

Eligibility Criteria

Scientist

• M. Sc in Biotechnology/Applied Physics/ Life Science from a recognized university and for Geochronology facility candidate must have cleared M. Sc in Geology/ Geo Physics
• Candidates who have done M. Sc in the year 2021-22 are also eligible to be allowed for these posts.
• Candidates need to have 60% above in 10th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation.
• The degree should be from UGC/AICTE recognized organization

Engineer

• Candidates must have done B. Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science/Mechanical/ Civil from recognized university
• Proficiency in the computer is required
• Candidates need to have 60% above in 10th, 12th, graduation, and post-graduation.
• The degree should be from UGC/AICTE recognized organization

Junior Engineer

• Must have done Diploma in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical from a recognized university 
• Candidates need to have 60% above in 10th, 12th// Diploma, graduation, and post-graduation
• 3 years experience in Research and development is required
• The degree should be from UGC/AICTE recognized organization

• Here candidate needs to select the post for which he wants to apply and fill the form on the link. 
• The candidate also needs to upload the latest photograph and signature in the required size and format. 
• After that candidate needs to upload the documents such as education certificate, experience, no objective certificate, valid photo identification, self-attested copy of the community certificate. 
• After this candidate needs to pay the fee and submit the application form. 

Pay Scale

Scientist: Level – 10 (Rs. 56100-177500)

Engineer: Level – 10 (Rs. 56100-177500)

Junior Engineer: Level – 10 (Rs. 56100-177500)

In addition to this, there will also be DA, HRA, Transport allowance, LTC, and medical benefits as per government rules.
