The person recruited for posts under Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice Recruitment 2023 will be given various responsibilities after the training of the candidate. Below apprenticeship, one year training will be provided to the selected candidates:

17. Shipwright (wood)

18. Tailor(g)

19. Welder(g&e)

Below apprenticeship two year training will be provided to the selected candidates:

1.    Rigger

2.    Forger & heat treater

3.    Shipwright (steel)

Important Dates

The opening date for registration and submission of the application form for Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice Recruitment 2023 has started and the closing date for online application is on or before 26.06.2023.

Eligibility Criteria

The required qualification for the post of Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Apprentice jobs 2023 is as follows:

1. Must have a minimum Matriculation degree from a recognized Board.
2. Student must also have also completed ITI.

Age Criteria

The candidates who are interested in the post must have completed 14 years and below 21 years of age. Age relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates as per extant rules and wards of Defence employees or Naval civilians as per MoD letter FM/0442/NHQ/1278 D(N-II) dated 14 Nov 1996.

Selection Process

Candidates who have applied and are eligible for the Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Recruitment 2023 for Apprentice vacancies will have to appear 2 levels of the selection process i.e:

1. Written Examination- After clearing the written test candidates will be listed in merit list.
2.  Interview/ Skill Test
3. Medical Examination

Salary Detail

The selected candidate for the post of Apprentice will be paid a minimum rate of stipend per month as follow:

1. During the first year of training Rs 7000/- Per month for ITI passed & Rs 6000/-
2. During the second year of training with 10% increase.
