Railway recruitment cell released a notification for apprenticeship.

Important Dates

Start date of Application: 2^nd November 2021

End date of Application: 1^st December 2021

Age Criteria

15 years to 24 years. Candidate must have not completed 24 years as on 1^st December 2021.

Age relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST and 3 years to OBC candidates. PWD will be given 10 years of age relaxation. As per different category cut of age and date is given below:

Application fee

General Candidates: 100 INR

No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed 10th or equivalent examination with 50% marks from a recognized university. 
• ITI certification is required from the relevant field. 
• Applicants those does not have 10th and ITI certification result till 12th October 2021 are not eligible for the positions. 
• Diploma and engineering graduates are not eligible for the posts. 

How to Apply?

Interested candidates need to go to the following link to fill the application form: www.apprenticeshipindia.org.

Here candidates need to do registration first by filling up details such as candidate name, date of birth, mobile number, and E-mail ID

After registration candidate need to fill the application form. 

To fill application form candidates, need to mention all the personal details, education qualification details.

Candidates are not required to send documents by post. However, all the documents must be uploaded online. 

Last step is to complete the payment process. 

Applicants need to keep all the documents for future use.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will go under training as an apprenticeship for a year and a stipend will be given as per government rules. 

Selection procedure

Selection is based on being shortlisted. After being shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical fitness. A merit list will be prepared from the average percentage of marks received by the candidate in 10th and ITI. In case if two candidates will have some marks, an older candidate will be shortlisted. The final merit list will be prepared on basis of trade, and unit.
