NMDC Recruitment 2022: Vacancy Open For 200 Field Attendant & Other Posts

National Mineral Development Corporation released notification to fill the various positions. NMDC is establishing a new plant in Chhattisgarh. The following posts will be filled under this recruitment drive:

• Field Attendant – 43 Vacancies 
• Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical)- 90 
• Maintenance Assistant (Electrical)- 35 
• MCO Trainee- 4 
• HEM Mechanic- 10
• Electrician-7
• Blaster-2
• QCA- Trainee- 9

Start date of Application: 10th February 2022

End date of Application: 2nd March 2022

Age Crieteria

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years. 

Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST candidates and 3 years to OBC Candidates. 

Application fee

General Candidates: 150 INR

SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-serviceman and Department Candidate: Exempted from fee

Payment can be submitted through online banking. Transaction charges will be applied while making the transaction. The application fee once paid will not be refunded. 

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized institution.

• Here candidate needs to click on e-applications on the menu and fill the details in the online application form. 
• After that candidate needs to pay the fee and submit the final application.
• Candidates need to keep the application details for future use.

Stipend

Field Attendant, Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical), Maintenance Assistant (Electrical)

First 12 Months: 18000

Next 6 Months: 18500

Payscale on Regularization: 18100-3%- 31850 for Field Attendant and 18700-3%-32940 for others

MCO Trainee, HEM Mechanic, Electrician, Blaster, QCA- Trainee

First 12 Months: 19000

Next 6 Months: 19500

Payscale on Regularization: 19900-3%-35040

Selection Procedure

Selection will be done based on the written test and physical Ability test for the field Attendant, Maintenance Assistant (Mechanical). For the rest of the posts, a written test and trade test will be conducted. The written test will be of 100 marks and skill, the physical test will be only qualifying in nature. The question booklet will be in Hindi, English, Kannada. 

Examination Pattern and Syllabus

Written Test

For Field Attendant: General Knowledge- 70 Marks, Numerical and reasoning ability- 30 Marks

For all other posts: Subject Knowledge- 30 marks, General Knowledge: 50 Marks, Numerical and Reasoning ability: 20 Marks

The candidate will be called for the second round based on the performance in the written test. Therefore, candidates need to secure minimum qualifying as per below mentioned:

• General Candidate: 50 marks
• SC/ST/PWD: 40 Marks
• OBC: 45 Marks

Trade test

The trade test will be qualifying in nature and for field attendants, the physical test is qualifying in nature. For trade test number will be given out of 100 and candidates need to secure the below-mentioned marks to qualify for the paper:

• General Candidate: 40 marks
• OBC: 37 marks
• SC/ST/PWD: 30 marks 

After clearing the tests candidate need to produce original documents for document verification.
