OTR OARS: One Time Registration Portal by APPSC Arunachal Pradesh

What is OTR?

OTR or One Time Registration is a new initiative started by Commission of Arunachal Pradesh for the candidates willing to apply for various vacancies or Government posts. The eligible candidates can now register themselves through the official portal of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

With the help of this new facility, the candidates will now have to register themselves only once for applying for various posts or competitive exams. When the candidates once register with APPSC, they don’t need to fill their basic details, educational qualifications, and other basic details every time they apply for other exams that would be conducted in the future.

Why it is important?

OTR or say One Time Registration comes with various benefits for the candidates looking for government vacancies or jobs. Here are some points that make OTR important.

• Give the details only once

OTR will be compulsory for the candidates applying for the jobs offered by the Commission. The candidates will have to provide all the basic details like personal information, education qualifications, photograph, signature, etc. only once for registration. For this, they will not have to pay any charges. Once the details would be provided and registered, the candidates will not have to fill all the details again and again for other preliminary exams or main exams of the Commission.

• Only pay the fees

The candidates who have already done OTR, will just have to select the examination they want to attend. And deposit the prescribed fees for that particular examination. Once the fee is deposited, other details would appear automatically on the website.

• E-Locker facilities

Once the candidates have registered with OTR facility, they can edit or update their details in the future like educational qualification, experience, etc. Also the candidates will be able to upload new documents when required. Apart from all these facilities, the candidates will also be provided with an E-Locker for preserving the documents.

Hence, OTR reduces the application burden to a great extent.

APPSC OTR Registration

All the candidates willing to apply for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission vacancy need to apply online for the same. Here are the steps they need to follow for applying online and registering.

Prior to applying online for any post, the candidate will have to go for a OTR or One Time Registration

For OTR, the candidates need to hold scanned images for uploading like recent passport size photograph, signature of the candidate, and required testimonials and documents

All the scanned images should be in jpeg or jpg format

The candidates need to provide all the basic details correctly like name, date of birth, address, education details, etc.

Provide a valid mobile number and email address for completing the OTR

APPSC would send the notifications and other essential messages on the registered number and email address

The candidates have to then generate a password for OTR

Once all the details are submitted, a user ID would be generated by APPSC and would be registered with your number and email address

The candidates need not pay any registration fees for OTR

After submitting all the details, the candidate would receive a message on the registered number and email address
