Sainik School Admission 2022 Entrance Exam (AISSEE) for Class 6 & 9 [Apply Now]

Sainik Schools Society released the notification for entrance examination for the class 6 and 9 admissions. Sainik Schools Society is an individual body under the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India.

It’s an English medium school society that prepares students for the National Defence Academy to join as the Cadet. There are 33 schools all around India and students are allowed to get admission in the school for further studies based on their performance in the entrance examination.

Start Date: 27th September 2021

Last Date: 26th October 2021

Last date of fee submission: 26th October 2021

Correction Dates: 28th October 2021- 2nd November 2021

Admit card download: This Will be announced later

Date of Examination: 9th February 2022 (Class 6- 2 to 4:30 pm and Class 9- 2 to 5 pm)

Result declaration date: Will be announced later

Age Criteria

Class 6 – Candidate should be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st march 2021

Class 9 – Candidate should be between 13 to 15 years as of 31st march 2021

SC/ST- 400 INR

How to Apply?

  • Interested candidates need to apply on the online website with the help of the given link: https://aissee.nta.nic.in/WebInfo/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P
  • Candidate need to apply using the Email ID and Mobile No.
  • After following the link candidate can click on Apply for AISSEE -2022 link 
  • The link will redirect the student to the new page
  • Candidates need to do the registration using a unique E-mail ID
  • After registration, the candidate needs to fill the application form
  • After filling the form candidate must note down the application number for further use
  • The candidate also needs to upload the following details: Photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, domicile certificate, Date of Birth certificate, Certificate of service, Caste certificate
  • After filling the attaching relevant document candidate need to pay the fee through online mode. 
  • Candidate can pay the fee using ICICI, SBI Bank, and Paytm gateway and using debit/ credit/ Net Banking and UPI mode
  • Candidates need to save the confirmation page after fee submission 

Selection procedure

Candidates need to secure a minimum of 25% in each section and a total aggregate of 40% overall to qualify for the test. After that verification of the documents and medical of the candidate will be done. However, there are no qualified marks for the SC/ST students. They will get admission base on the merit list. 

Examination Pattern

The examination will be a pencil and paper-based paper that consist of Multiple-choice questions. Here are the details of sections included in the paper:

Class 6

  • Mathematics- 50 questions- 150 marks
  • Intelligence- 25 questions-50 Marks
  • General knowledge- 25 questions- 50 Marks
  • Language-25 questions- 50 Marks

Total questions- 125- 300 Marks

Class 9

  • Mathematics- 50 questions- 150 marks
  • Intelligence- 25 questions-50 Marks
  • Language-25 questions- 50 Marks
  • General Science- 25 questions-50 marks
  • Social Science- 25 questions- 50 Marks’

Total questions- 150 – 400 Marks 

Medium of examination: For Class-6 only English and for Class-9 English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Urdu, Oriya, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, Marathi 

  • Candidates can choose any language
  • Examination language cannot be changed later on
  • Candidates who choose Hindi or English will be given a bilingual exam booklet

Reservation

  • 67% are reserved for state candidates 
  • Total 47.5 % are reserved for 15%- SC, 7.5%-ST, 27%-OBC-NCL (Within Home State)
  • 33% are reserved for a candidate from other 
  • 25% are reserved for defense personnel and ex-serviceman ward
  • Class-6 10% are reserved for girls
