At the same time, the responsibility of providing such services is on the people who are qualified to do the jobs for other people, and that’s why the NHM UP has issued an official notification for the recruitment of ANM vacancies.

UP NHM Vacancy
National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking applications from the interested and qualified candidates for ANM- Auxiliary Nurse Midwife. There are over five thousand vacancies for the position declared in different categories in different locations with different numbers for which aspirants can apply.

The state reservation policy will be applicable for the candidates of Uttar Pradesh, and the seats differ from category to category.
- There are 2484 seats for the people who belong to the unreserved category.
- There are a total of 463 seats for the people who belong to the EWS category.
- There are a total of 1381 seats for the people who belong to the OBC category.
- There are a total of 1066 seats for the people who belong to scheduled castes.
- There are a total of 69 seats for the people who belong to scheduled tribes.
Only female candidates are applied for the job. The candidates must have a two-year diploma in auxiliary nursing and midwifery by any reputed and recognized institute approved by the Nursing Council of the State.
The candidates may apply for more than one district at a time. They must be registered from the UP state nursing council and have a registration certificate when submitting the application form.
- The minimum marks for the general/EWS category should be 33% out of 100.
- The minimum qualifying marks for the OBC category should be 30% out of 100.
- The minimum qualifying marks for the SC/ST category should be 24% out of 100.
The candidate must be less than 40 years of age as of the date 12th September 2021. And the candidate must ensure that the date of birth should be the same as recorded in the secondary examination certificate or equivalent. However, the age limit will be relaxed for the candidates who belong to OBC/SC/ST categories.
- For OBC candidates, three years.
- For SC/ST candidates, five years.
- The tentative date for the go-live of the online application form is 15th September 2021 at midnight.
- The tentative date for the closure of the online application form is 30th September 2021 at 11:59 PM.
Note: Candidates must fill in the application forms on time and are requested not to wait until the closure of application forms and register within time.
Instructions to apply
The candidates must fill up the application form online, and the means of mode should be none other than English. Make sure that you recheck the details before submitting the form, as editing would not be allowed after submission. In addition, the candidates must enter details concerning their matriculation certificate.
Name, father’s name, date of birth are needed to be filled in the form as per the documents. However, the other documents that are necessary to upload in the form are:
- Secondary school certificate.
- Senior secondary school certificate.
- ANM degree mark sheet.
- Adhar card
- Experience certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Image of photograph, signature, any other category, or education certificate.

The application form is designed to capture information such as personal information and contact details of the candidates. However, the application fee is NIL.
The questions and the pattern are as follows:
For the Primary health care and national health program, there will be seventy-five questions of seventy-five marks.
For the mother and child health care, there will be ten questions of ten marks.
For health information and education, and communication, there will be five questions of five marks.
For primary medical care, there will be ten questions of ten marks.
How many questions will there be in the exam?
The detailed information about the UP NHM ANM recruitment 2021-2022 is issued by the concerned authorities. The interested candidates can apply for the job. The duration of the exam will be 120n minutes. The candidate is required to attempt a total of hundred questions in two hours. The candidates will have to pass the exam for the further selection process.
The candidates who are found eligible for the job shall be issued a call letter to appear for the document verification process. However, if it is found out that the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria at any stage, her job application will be cancelled instantly.
There is no negative marking in the National Health Mission exam of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife.
Note: Candidates who are claiming reservations are required to submit the requisite certificates. In addition, the candidates must appear for the further selection process if the call letter has been issued to them.
